Cisco Systems Employees Volunteer to Support Local Nonprofits attachment icon

On Tuesday, May 8, Cisco employees in the Pacific Northwest helped the community during a half day of service benefiting NPower Seattle's "Network Stability and Security" outreach event. NPower is a national network of local nonprofit organizations that provide high-quality, unbiased, affordable and appropriate technology assistance to other organizations. NPower Seattle organizes this particular event for the purpose of conducting a basic technology assessment for nonprofit groups in and around the area who otherwise would go on doing business as usual.

NPower Seattle Participates in UW Symposium on Innovation attachment icon

On October 10, NPower Seattle has been invited to take part in The University of Washington Information School's fall symposium titled "Enabling Innovation Across Boundaries". The theme for the day is based around discussions of innovation and how it impacts the success of an organization. In order to compete, and even survive, in today's marketplace, organizations must be capable of innovating in a highly effective and efficient manner. Over the past several months, a research project funded by the Institute for Innovation in Information Management (I3M) has been conducted to investigate this area with key executives in areas recognized as leaders in innovation. The results of the studies will be presented at the symposium in October. A panel of study participants, including Jaime Greene, Executive Director of NPower Seattle, will also be present for the day to add their insights and participate in the discussion.
